The complex task of weight loss requires more than a trendy restriction diet, a
celebrity endorsed exercise gadget, tape, or workout routine.  And most diets and
diet/exercise books fail because they try to impose a quick and easy solution to a
highly complex situation.  They don't address the powerful behavioral and
motivational issues that determine weight loss.

The core focus of my approach is on the behavioral and motivational aspects that lead to success.  I
consult with each individual in order to answer the questions that are specific to his or her
transformation goals, such as:
Changing the composition of your body is not easy; If it were,
everyone would look like fitness models.  However, it is easier
than most people think.  The key is to begin with a solid,
specifically designed nutritional plan that takes into account your
unique lifestyle.   In our first meeting together we will design this
specialized nutritional plan.
You will finally know what
foods
you should be eating to lose weight, and what
foods are not helping to move you towards your goals.

However, nutrition is just the beginning.  It must be combined
with an integrated exercise program and a comprehensive ability
to accurately measure your progress as you move towards your
new physique!
If we fail to plan our lives, then we can plan on failing to reach our
goals.  Each person we assist is a unique individual, and so too is
the plan to reach their specific physical conditioning goals.  I
approach each person’s goals with an intense focus on producing
the desired results.  Together, we will plan, we will implement,
and we will produce results!

It all begins with a measurement - a baseline - of your current
physiology.  The Physio-Graph provides an exact meausure of your

body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, and fluid.  It is difficult to reach a goal if you do not know where
you are starting from.  Many times people will begin an exercise and/or diet program without taking a
measure of where they are.  After a few weeks they give up because there is no noticeable change.
Without knowing where we started, it is difficult to know if we have made progress toward our goal.
I will design your exercise in combination with your nutrition to ensure that your time spent in
physical activity actually decreases the fat on your body.  Not all exercise produces fat loss.  I will
demonstrate how the science of
nutrient timing determines whether your exercise efforts will
produce fat loss or muscle gain.  We will determine when the best time is for you to eat to reach
your goals, and determine what you should be eating at those times.  By integrating your nutritional
plan with your exercise routine you get maximum benefits from your efforts!
The type of exercise that is best depends on your specific goals and lifestyle.  Motivation will quickly
fade if the exercise is not enjoyable, repetitive, or not convenient for your specific lifestyle.  Together,
we will determine the most effective, enjoyable, and convenient type of physical activity.  Sometimes
this is a walk or jog around the neighborhood first thing in the morning, or a group class at a gym, or
a lunchtime private training session at a studio near work.
Once we have designed your specific exercise and nutrition program, it is then
your turn to implement it. But I don't stop there.  I will be with you every step
of the way to your goal.  To keep you motivated and on track, we will continue
to measure your changes in fat and muscle with the Physio-Graph.

So if you have one particular part of your body that you would like to change, or
if you want to totally transform your current size and shape, we can design
everything you need to succeed!  Please feel free to view the other pages of
this site that have specifics about the Physio-Graph, as well as nutrition and
exercise information.
