Exercise should not take a long time to be effective. In fact, exercising for long
periods of time has been proven to be counterproductive. Research has
consistently demonstrated that exercise intensity is more important than time.
There are two basic types of exercise, and then any number of variations of
the two types.
The first type is weight training, or also called strength training. It involves
contraction of muscles against a resistance (dumbbell, weight stack etc.).
The second type is aerobic or cardiovascular conditioning. Some common
forms of cardiovascular conditioning are walking, running, aerobics classes,
swimming, and any exercise that elevates the heart rate for a given period of
time.

Exercise is monitored via a Polar Heart Rate
Monitor that will guide your exercise intensity
to the optimal level for your current condition
and goals. I will teach you how to perform the
exercise, how to use the heart rate monitor,
and I will design the exercise to fit into your
schedule, and adjust the prescription weekly to
optimize results.

time exercising, it is to maximize the results from the effort put forth.
You do not have to perform your exercise with me. You may prefer to exercise at home, or go to
the health club or personal training studio nearer to your home. I will design your exercise to be
most convenient to you and your lifestyle.

Give your heart a regular beating! Any well-rounded weight loss or fitness
program needs to incorporate some form of targeted fat loss. Numerous research
studies have proven that long-term fat loss will only occur when cardiovascular
exercise and strength training are performed. Every athletic event relies on some
level of muscular strength and cardiovascular performance, whether it is running a
marathon, playing baseball, basketball, or walking 18 holes of golf.
The type of cardiovascular conditioning or strength training performed, when it is performed, and how
it is integrated into nutritional intake timing will determine if there will be fat loss from the effort put
forth. Having expertise in the relationship between nutrition, physiology, and fat loss allows me to
develop a targeted fat loss program that will address what type of exercise you should perform, at
what intensity level, and what and when you should eat to see the greatest fat loss from your efforts.
You will see a dramatic fat loss when you follow this program!
